Visiting the Roadshow is absolutely free.

We ask that you register to visit the event and indicate if you will be attending the Conference, as we need to know numbers for this room. The Conference is also free. You can, however, turn up and attend the Photonics Tutorials without indicating you will be visiting these. Drop in and out of the talks and tutorials that interest you.

By car to ‘Duke Street Car Park’ for satellite navigation: G4 0UW

Car-Parking (please read)
For Roadshow parking, we suggest you use the Duke Street Car Park, the special rate is £4.50 for the day, to obtain the special rate please ensure that you have your ticket stamped at the Reception Desk, TIC Building (i.e. main reception desk at the exhibition/conference venue, which is located just as you walk into the building)

Travel Directions by car to ‘Duke Street Car Park’
From Edinburgh and the North of England, Glasgow Airport and from the West
- take Exit 15 off the M8 Motorway. Postcode for Sat Nav for car park is (G4 0UW), it is located on Duke Street which is at the junction of George Street/High Street. The TIC building is then a short distance from the car park, see map.

After you have parked your car, and before you leave, take your ticket to
Security Control in the Livingstone Tower to be swiped to apply discount.

By Train to Central Station
Arrivals from the West and most Intercity services arrive at Central Station from where a 5/10 minute taxi drive will take you to the TIC Building.

Central Station to venue (12 min walk)
Head north toward Gordon St, turn right onto Gordon Street, left onto Buchanan Street, right onto George St, TIC Building (venue) will be on the right
By Train to Queen Street Station

Arrivals from Edinburgh and the East come into Queen Street Station.

Queen Street Station to venue (9 min walk)
Head south on N Hanover St, turn left onto George Square, continue onto George St, TIC Building (venue) will be on the right.

By Air & from Buchanan Bus Station

A frequent bus service runs from Glasgow International Airport to Buchanan Bus Station, which is then a 10 minute walk from the Campus.

Buchanan Bus Station to venue (10 min walk)
Head south on N Hanover St toward Killermont St, turn left onto George Square, continue onto George St, TIC Building (venue) will be on the right.

The Venue

Registration opens at 8.45am for the Conference/Exhibition, please follow signs once you enter the building.
